FOUNDATION STEM (MRS FILLIS)

Prep STEM
In Term 3 STEM, Prep students will be investigating ‘flight’ using their Engineering experiences from Term 1 to build
different flying objects. They will be using their Mathematical skills to informally measure the height and distance
of these flying objects. They will also be exploring Science principles such as; the way objects move will depend on
a variety of factors including their size and shape and how a push or a pull affects how an object moves or
changes shape. During these STEM lessons the Foundation students will be making predictions and recording their
observations in a variety of different ways.
