RACV Challenge 2019

Congratulations to our two teams that competed in the RACV Energy             Breakthrough event from 21st – 23rd   of November up in Maryborough. On Day 1, they battled 41degree temperatures and the threat of nearby bushfires to deliver outstanding presentations on scrutineering. On Day 2, after a big  breakfast, both teams competed in the Endurance Race followed by their display and presentation to the judges on their pushcart design and construction. Later in the day, both teams competed in the     Obstacle Course Race. On Day 3, both teams competed in the very exciting sprint races in front of big crowds down the main straight of the HPV track.

We are so proud of our Kingsley Kids for their outstanding performances and the way they represented our school demonstrating respect, excellence, resilience, cooperation and community. Thank you to our wonderful parents who came to the event and     supported our teams and thank you to the whole school community who supported the Energy Breakthrough teams.

Special thanks to Tony Melrose who constructed both of our pushcarts under a strict timeframe and he did an amazing job.
