School Tour - Performing Arts

Kingsley Park has an excellent music and performing arts program. Each odd year children have the opportunity to take part in the Rock Eisteddfod, and our school has managed to reach the finals on several occasions. In even years, the whole school takes part in year level concerts, which are carefully rehearsed and produced. Children also have the opportunity to learn a wide range of instruments including drums, keyboard, saxophone, clarinet, flute and trumpet, during school hours, for an extra fee, and they may also join the excellent school band, which plays each week at Assembly.

Some times our students get to see pantomimes by travelling performers. This helps to give insights into good acting and performing.

This term we have Peter Combe performing live as well as the Alpha Theatre Production of Hercules.
