School Tour - Enrichment

It is the policy at Kingsley Park to ensure that the learning needs of all children are addressed in the mixed level classrooms.

Programs like RACV Challenge, Rock Eisteddfod, Coach Appraoch plus camping and incursion/excursion programs cater for particular talents of children, as well as being a souce of great enjoyment and social interaction.

Additional enrichment programs are offered both within the school, on needs and interest basis, both for remediation and for extension. The Peninsula Connections program runs in Terms 2 and 3, and is offered in many local schools. Parents interested may receive an invitation the previous term, or ask you class teacher.

The Thinking Curriculum is an initiative which is incorporated into many areas of learning. It teaches children thinking tools and enables them to be more aware of thinking strategies when problem solving. It further allows them to understand and operate more clearly in their world.
